RECOMMENDATIONS

 

i) that the Sub Committee together with the Independent Member and the Independent Parish Councillor consider the complaints; and

 

ii) that the Sub Committee determine whether there has been a breach of the Tickenham Parish Council Code of Conduct by the said Councillors.

 

1.                Summary of Report

 

Two complaints have been received from members of the public regarding four Tickenham Parish Councillors stating that the councillors have breached the Tickenham Parish Council Code of Conduct applicable to councillors.

 

2.                Policy

 

Tickenham Parish Council Code of Conduct for Councillors contains information on how a councillor should behave when conducting business as a councillor.

 

3.                Details

 

Two complaints have been received from members of the public about a Tickenham Parish Councillor. The Code of Conduct is attached at Appendix 1.

 

The complaints can be found at Exempt Appendices 2 and 3.

 

The councillors who are the subject of the complaint were informed of the allegations and have responded in writing and their responses can be found at Exempt Appendices 4, 5, 6 and 7.
